Hamstring Injuries – Stability v Mobility

When assessing the cause of a hamstring pull it is vital to decide if this is a mobility or stability issue. 

Here are two quick assessment techniques I use when dealing with my athletes or clients 

Try them out and see are you flexible or stable.

As you can see Riain is quite flexible but not that stable during this examination.

We can then design our rehab programme around this.
