Tight Hips Can Be A Curse!

Functional Training Ireland Physiotherapist Riain Casey tells us how to help loosen out those dreaded tight hips.

Many of the knee, ankle, and even low back injuries we see here in FTI are directly related to tightness around the hip joint.

Very often, this tightness can be brought on by increases in activity levels, or in other cases the exact opposite ie. sustained periods of immobility (sitting at desks, driving etc.)

A good functional assessment of how your body is moving can help to identify the exact source of this tightness.

Try these simple exercises that can help to alleviate any pain or stiffness brought on by tight hips
