“Dave Hare worked for 3years as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Longford Senior Football Team. During that time, Dave’s knowledge and passion for S&C commanded the respect of all the players.
He quickly got to understand what was required for different individuals in order to firstly, get them injury free, secondly, to keep them injury free and ultimately to get them fit. Dave changed the player’s attitude to strength and conditioning and by doing so enabled them to achieve levels of performance that would not have been possible without his input.
He very successfully managed the development of young players while at the same time adopting programmes for older more experienced players that needed a different approach.
Among his many other characteristics, Dave’s professionalism, commitment, positivity, and work ethic made my job as Manager much easier and more enjoyable. I look forward to working with Dave and all at FTI at some stage in the future”. Glenn Ryan
Kildare GAA Legend & Former coach of Longford
“Before Dave came in, I’d spent three years with a bad back injury,” he says. “I was struggling trying to play. I reckoned I shouldn’t be there, but I stayed because I felt I should,” explained Barden.
“I was hardly able to pick the ball up off the ground. I was thinking of giving it up and I had spoken to Glenn Ryan. But then Dave came in and after a couple of months I found that his training was working for me. All the beach weights went out the window; it’s all strength and conditioning, fixing where I need to be fixed. I started to really enjoy my football again.”

“Dave Hare opened my eyes to how an athlete should prepare and train. Training was athlete-specific and time was always optimised to generate the greatest value.
Before I met Dave I had chronic hamstring tightness which I couldn’t get rid of, after training with Dave for a few months, the tightness had completely subsided and I have had no recurrence since. Dave has allowed me to become more aware of my body and what it needs, learning a hell of a lot from him along the way.
Above all, Dave makes the process of training as an athlete enjoyable and fulfilling, which ultimately transferred to personal enjoyment on the pitch.”

David Hare is an excellent trainer who is constantly studying and implementing the latest training methods for performance enhancement and general fitness. I first met David while attending a Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning mentorship, where David spent his own money to attend the session in Boston to make the knowledge learned available to his clients in the Dublin area. I advise anyone who is looking for state-of-the-art training in the Dublin area to take advantage of what David Hare can offer.
